Building Impact is a nonprofit organization that empowers volunteers to serve as teams, with the goals of Strengthening Community and Measuring the Impact of our work together. Through our deep relationships with corporations, universities and nonprofit partners, we are not just filling service gaps in under-served local communities, but codesigning volunteer engagements to ensure that our work with our nonprofit partners is helping them build a greater capacity to achieve their missions.
We utilize a 3-step model:
- Listening to our high-impact, local nonprofit partners to identify needs
- Co-designing volunteer engagements that Build Community and achieve goals
- Delivering and Measuring Impact in helping nonprofits achieve their missions
At Building Impact, we believe that solving complex social issues requires a collaborative effort – across companies, nonprofits, universities, and public policy.
We forge partnerships with local nonprofit organizations on the front lines of the most complex social issues and identify ways we can apply the rich ecosystem of resources and talent in Boston to help them achieve their missions.
Building Impact envisions a day when everyone in the community participates in making their community stronger and healthier.
Building Impact’s mission is to strengthen communities by empowering individuals and companies with the opportunity to volunteer, donate, and connect with high impact, local nonprofits working on critical social issues.
