Wednesday, July 14, Building Impact brought volunteers to Fenway Park to attend an info session sponsored by Normany Real Estate Partners, and conducted by Mass Mentoring Partnership.
Volunteers were invited to the Absolut Room at Fenway and listened to presentations from Alexa and Rhonda from Mass Mentoring Partnerships, representatives from Boston Partners in Education, and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America. We also hear from Big Sister, Amanda Martinez, about her stirring and inspiring experience as a mentor.
Afterwards, there was time to ask questions, learn about the various programs, and sign up to become mentors. Building Impact is greatful to Normandy Real Estate Partners, Mass Mentoring, and the Red Sox for putting on such a great event and exposing new people to the importance of mentoring.
