Lisa has managed the Building Impact program since its inception in 2000, and helped to create Building Impact following 3 years as the Manager of Client Programs and Community Innovation at Paradigm Properties. As her role indicates, Lisa focuses her time and effort on directing the growth of Building Impact’s portfolio of buildings, organizational development and ensuring maximum community impact. Lisa volunteers as a board member and advisor with a number of local community organizations, and recently served as a Fellow for Social Venture Partners Boston. Under Lisa’s leadership, Building Impact was chosen as winner of the 2007 Social Innovation Forum in the Social Enterprise: Non-Profit Business Venture category and Lisa was recently selected as one of Boston’s ’40 Under 40’ rising business leaders by the Boston Business Journal in 2007.

Kristin is an AmeriCorps* VISTA working with Building Impact as Fundraising and Marketing Manager. Her role includes preparing grant proposals, researching funding opportunities, and managing the marketing Building Impact program activities within buildings. A native of Michigan, Kristin interned at the Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids Headquarters as a Marketing Associate. While at Goodwill, she assisted with the development and launching of their updated website, created new marketing materials for projects, and designed the 2006 annual report. Kristin graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.A. in English Language & Literature and Professional Writing.

David's responsibilities at Building Impact include developing relationships with building tenants and managing the Building Impact program in commercial and residential properties. Furthermore, as Manager of Technology David manages Building Impact's database, website development, technology procurement and is focused on implementing technology to ensure maximum community impact. He is working to design Building Impact 2.0 and administers and maintains our presence on social networking websites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Idealist.org, and more. A Boston native, David studied Spanish and Cultural History in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and traveled extensively in South America. He earned his B.A. in American Studies from The George Washington University with a concentration in Cultural Analysis.

As a Community Connector at Building Impact, Alison develops relationships with building tenants, manages program delivery in commercial and residential properties, and works to strengthen our volunteer base. As Manager of Programming, Alison is responsible for the development and implementation of Building Impact’s ongoing programming and delivery work. While pursuing her degree in International Relations at Boston University, Alison studied cities and community development in Niger, Argentina, China and New Zealand. Before joining Building Impact, Alison worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the MATCH School, a high performing Charter Public High School in Boston that prepares inner-city kids for college success.

Tamara is an AmeriCorps* VISTA working with Building Impact as the Program Coordinator. Her role includes planning and organizing the logistics of all of our program events, managing our communication with program participants, and launching Building Impact's Non-Profit Network. She recently spent six months living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she interned at an environmental policy non-profit, writing grants and translating documents. In the US, she likes to call Vermont home, where she most recently worked at the Howard Center, a community mental health organization based in Burlington. In her free time she likes to cook and play the piano. Tamara graduated from Middlebury College in 2007 with a BA in Sociology and Anthropology.

Sarah joined Building Impact after working as one of the organization's clients in the commercial real estate industry. Sarah was a Leasing Associate and Property Manager with Normandy Real Estate Partners and was responsible for marketing and public relations, attracting new tenants to Normandy's buildings, and overseeing building operations in both the Boston and Washington, DC regions. Sarah has also been the Community Service Director of Manhattan Young Democrats, and has volunteered with Orphanage Outreach, City Girls, and various other local nonprofits. She brings a wealth of real estate knowledge and experience in building and strengthening relationships to help grow Building Impact's client base and positively affect more people. Ms. Gudernatch received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Providence College and a Certificate of Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She has also been a member of the Building Owners and Managers Associates (BOMA) and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) where she served on the Charity and Developing Leaders committees.

Paulette Stout brings her strong background in advertising and marketing to Building Impact as its Grant Writer and Development Strategist. Most recently, Paulette worked at the United Teen Equality Center in Lowell, MA where she raised over $1.2 million in under two years for the at-risk youth agency. Before relocating to the Boston area in 2006, Paulette worked for Verizon Wireless where she directed the $40 million dollar advertising budget for the Youth and Hispanic segments. Prior to Verizon Wireless, Paulette worked as a Media Manager at AT&T Consumer where she managed an $80 million dollar budget spread across four advertising agencies. While in New York, Paulette honed her media buying and planning skills at Media Buying Services (now Carat) and Saatchi & Saatchi, before landing at SG&W as the Media Director. Her 18 years of experience in advertising includes national and local television, radio, print, home, and online. Her work garnered her recognition several times, and she was named a MediaWeek All-Star for her innovative and results-producing work for Delta Airlines, and was twice awarded the MediaWeek Media Plan of the Year Award. Paulette's spirit and determination were formally recognized several times while at Saatchi & Saatchi where she won the agency's Nothing is Impossible Award as well as twice winning the Walter Teitz Creative Media Award. Paulette earned her MBA in Marketing at Pace University and her BS in Communications at Cornell University.
