This 90-acre country retreat sits only a short distance from hectic Rt. 128, yet will transport you back 100 years to a bucolic world of majestic homes, elegant gardens, carriage rides, fields and woodlands – all the amenities of gracious, turn-of-the-century living in the Neponset River Valley. Volunteers will help plant, weed, water and maintain the kitchen garden (vegetables, herbs and flowers) for the Bradley Farm Stand during the growing season for 2017. Enjoy learning the basics and some advanced techniques for the Bradley’s kitchen garden (mid- to large scale gardening/farming) with skills transferable for your own home gardens. For gardeners of all experience levels – new to gardening to Master Gardeners. This opportunity will include monthly trainings, information, Q&A sessions and time to socialize. Please bring gardening gloves, sunscreen, sturdy footwear and refillable water bottle. Optional: if you have any favorite tools, please bring those as well.
