Tech Gives Back 2015 is a day of service that mobilizes Boston’s tech community to work on more than 50 volunteer projects in Boston’s underserved communities, and concludes with a party to celebrate the day’s accomplishments. This day of service hosted by TUGG, sponsored by SVB and powered by Building Impact.
2000 visionary entrepreneurs, investors and community supporters from the innovation ecosystem took the day off to give back to Boston, the city that gives to them. Individuals, small teams and large start ups alike donated their time across 50 volunteer sites, giving almost 10,000 hours of volunteer service on the day. Boston Tech’s largest service was then capped off by by an epic block party including free food, drink, live music, and support for six amazing new nonprofits.Building Impact was ecstatic to help organize this day and be part of such an impactful event.
