At-nonprofit projects help meet the high need for volunteers at community-based organizations addressing food insecurity, health equity, families experiencing homelessness, and climate resilience and sustainability. Building Impact prepares your team for the day’s mission, ensuring that your volunteers contribute meaningfully to the community needs and have a great day on site!
Whether your group goes to one or multiple locations, our Building Impact team has a range of social causes and projects where your team will have a big impact in the community.
Funding these projects supports our nonprofit partners in delivering meals, programs, and services to the community.
We partner with nonprofits to co-design high-impact opportunities for small groups of corporate employees to safely volunteer at a nonprofit organization in 2-hour shifts. Gathering with your team on-site at a nonprofit forges meaningful connections with your team and the community organization.
Volunteers will assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, stirring sauces, and packaging meals. You and your colleagues can work side by side in a community kitchen to help combat food insecurity for individuals living with chronic diseases, families in hotels without kitchen access, and other populations who face barriers to cooking nutritious meals for themselves.
Volunteers will sort and quality check donations, organize donations by category (i.e. clothing, books, toys, kitchen essentials, etc), sort items by size and season if applicable, and ensure all items are ready for distribution by nonprofit partners to community members in need.
Volunteers will help pack individual and family meal boxes, as well as assist with sorting food donations. Food insecurity has been on the rise, get together with your colleagues and to help end hunger.
